| • Building on succes: Beyond the Obvious |
Coming from a process oriented and structured testing background, e.g. TMap and ISTQB, my approach in the past has been often to implement the “standard” testing practices. However many organisations and projects still do not aply testing processes to its full value. Management commitment and awarness regarding testing is lacking. Somehow, even when working working in low maturity development and testing organisation, they nevertheless seem to be able to release product that work reasonably well. Product that are “good enough”. What are they doing; what testing practices are they applying? This session will address a number of testing practices that have shown to work and proven to be successful in many environments. They may not always be the best and obvious solution according to the books, but they get the job done and that is what matters. Learn from the ‘real-world’ and get a list of highly practical testing recommendations that may also help you to survive in difficult times. Learn how to survive. |
