“Over 19 years of experience in the Financial & Banking Sector, Nitin has led transformational change across various functions of retail and corporate banking - Products, Marketing, Credit, Operations, Sales, and Technology.

Nitin currently spearheads Global Testing Services and is responsible for end-to-end applications testing across GRCB, Cards, Emerging Markets, Western Europe and Central Support. His primary focus on a global scale is to manage his leadership team to aggressively reduce the cost of testing, increase the quality of testing and accelerate test execution phases. Currently he manages a 900+ strong Testing Centre of Excellence team across 8 locations where test expertise are provided, standard processes are implemented, appropriate test tools and environments are provided, continuously developing meaningful metrics and managing a budget of £60 million.

Prior to joining Barclays in 2005, Nitin was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where he delivered strategic programmes, including consolidation expansions and in sourcing.

Nitin’s formative years were in Citibank where he spent nine years working in all aspects of banking, starting with Retail Banking product development to Credit and Risk. When he left in 2000, he was the Regional Technology Head for Emerging local Corporate Banking & eCommerce at Citibank. He pioneered and implemented internet/WAP mobile phone technology, state-of-the-art Lending System for Citibank’s Corporate Customers across Europe and Africa.

Nitin holds an MBA from The Ohio State University where he topped the course (Weilder Scholar) and a Bachelor of Commerce from Hindu College, University of Delhi, India.

His professional affiliations include Technology Software Engineering Group and achieved SEI CMM Level 3 & 4 at Citibank in 1994.”
