Founder and principal consultant for TESSCO Technologies inc (Tests Evaluation Service & Solution, Conseil & Organisation), Bernard Homès is also member of the board of IEEE (France) and active in various software testing association and workgroups, including the IEC (European Institute for Cindynics)
After 25+ years in software development and testing with different consultancies, he set up the TESSCO group in Europe and Canada to provide training and consultancy services worldwide.
After helping a major Canadian customer in setting up a test center specializing in health care soft-ware certification, offering consultancy services for a major French telecom company, and software quality assurance services for a French satellite solutions providers, Bernard is now in charge of quality assurance for the world leader in helicopter design and manufacturer.
Bernard Homès is also president of the French Software Testing Board (www.cftl.net), the Global Association for Software Quality (www.gasq.org) and represents France at the ISTQB, where he chairs the Advanced Level working party.
A long time speaker at different international conferences and universities, Bernard has acquired a number of Software Testing certifications, and chairs the ISTQB Advanced Level syllabus working party.
